organisation which seeks to promote interest in the life, work and mission
of the Indian churches. It contains an excellent page of links to further resources
The Church of South India comprises the states of
India which are not part of the CNI.
The Partnership for World Mission website is a
portal for churches in this country which have links to churches overseas.
It is an Anglican site, but its information about building overseas
partnerships, setting up a world mission policy for your church, and
approaches to giving and receiving money, are of relevance to all churches
involved in overseas work.
The Methodist Fund for World Mission is a similar site from the Methodist Church of Great Britain
Indian Christianity is an encyclopedia
of Indian Christianity with information and research assistance for topics
dealing with India in particular and South Asia in general. The emphasis
is mainly on the Syro-Malabar Church, but there is much information of more
general interest.
India Together gives in-depth information and
news on development, policy and social issues related to India, such as
poverty, education, children and women's issues, etc.
