2015 visits

There have been several visits in both directions in 2015.

The Revd Nigel Pope with his wife Candi and their two children Rachel and Joshua came to Derby for 6 weeks. Nigel is the Priest in Charge of the Cathedral in Calcutta

A party of teachers from Calcutta came to Derby. This was part of a British Council exchange project organised by Anita Matthews from St Peter's Derby. The teachers spent time in schools across the county and in late October a groupof teachers made the return visit.

Joy and Ruth Mallard from Ashbourne Methodist church also visited Calcutta and spent a week helping at the Arunima Hospice and also spent time with other projects and schools.

John and Elizabeth Hurfurt went to the Diocese of Patna. Report here

Richard and Joyce Odell, also from Ashbourne, had a gap in their visit to Nepal and also went to the Diocese of Patna.
